Pato finds growth opportunities where others seem to see nothing. That is why he complies with what he proposed in each instance of each idea. He created his own hotel company from Cero, in an uncertain country and context for business progress. In a demanding business world, he has developed large projects without credit, with individual investors, and without debt. Pato understands each era's mindset, which allows him to recognize and take advantage of opportunities when they present themselves.
Each of his ventures is a sample of management capacity and successful development of ideas. His experience, the seriousness and confidence of his relationships and businesses, and the scope of his projects make him an undeniable benchmark in today's sector.
My story. Pato Fuks has been known for being a restless entrepreneur since he was a boy. During childhood, he created a school newspaper that he sold to his classmates and organized parties where he DJed with the musical novelties he brought from his family trips to New York. While studying Economics at the Torcuato Di Tella University, he worked at his father's hotel until he was 22, when he decided to open his first personal project: Achievers Publicidad. Skilled in management and working with corporate clients, Pato acquired large clients such as Correo Argentino, Coto, and Banco Comafi. Months after winning the CTI account, he won the Gold FIAP award for a radio ad for that company.
In his idea to undertake and continue growing, Pato looked for a new challenge. Years before, he had read that Conrad Hilton's career began renting hotels and decided to do the same. He rented out his first hotel, along with two college mates, and reopened it as Dazzler, founding his brand.
A few years later, having expanded significantly with the company, the need arose to develop a more efficient and organized management structure. This is how Fën Hoteles was born, the management company behind the Dazzler Hoteles and Esplendor Hoteles Boutique brands. Fën's success landed him on the cover of Inc., America's leading entrepreneurship magazine.
The sustained growth of his projects raised him to new scenarios. In 2015, summoned to give a talk on entrepreneurship in New York, he met Adam Neumann, co-founder of WeWork. And his life took another turn: he sold his hotel chain to change the world and create communities. From that moment, Pato joined the company as CEO of Latam, and shortly after that, he became directly responsible for the expansion of WeWork in Latin America and breaking growth records in the region.
